Our Story...

Inessa and Sarah 

Inessa and Sarah are a comedy duo. Inessa and Sarah are women. Inessa and Sarah are writers. Inessa and Sarah are producers. Inessa and Sarah are podcasters. Inessa and Sarah are back-up back-up dancers. Inessa and Sarah are everything!

Sarah  is a comedian, an improviser, a sketch performer, a writer, a dancer, an award winner, and a loud talker, bopping between Toronto and Los Angeles.

She is a winner of the Canadian Comedy Award for Best female Improviser and Now Magazine's award for Best Female Improviser.

 

Sarah wrote and performed with The Second City in their education company and their National Touring Company, in their revues "The Best of the Second City" and the "Second City's Nutcracking Hoilday revue"  (Miracles Not Included)." She also performed as a part of Second City Toronto's Mainstage in their 73rd revue, "Sixteen Scandals" (CCA Winner and Dora nominee) and their 74th review "Rebel without a Cosmos"(CCA nominee). In 2016 she performed in their first production of "Twist your Dickens".

 

Sarah co-created and co-hosts, "Dancing with (the) Comedians". She is an alumni member of The Sketchersons (CCA nominee and winner), performing in Comedy Bar's Headlining show Sunday Night Live. Sarah's improv troupes include, The Bad Dog Repertory Players (winner for Best Improv Troupe for Now Magazine and CCA nominee), PROJECTproject (CCA nominee), Squad Goals, Love on top and Cool Chicken.

Inessa Frantowski is a Los Angeles based comedian and friend to all. She is a Gemini Award winner and a two-time Canadian Comedy Award winner.  

 

An alumni of the world famous Second City MainStage in Toronto; she wrote and starred in 4 record breaking revues.

 

Credits include: This Hour has 22 Minutes (writer/performer), Match Game, Video on Trial, Hotbox, Kids in the Hall:  Death Comes to Town, Cosmopolis and the Avicii music video, I could be the one, currently at over 200 million views!  Currently you can catch her on I want my Phone Back on Watchable, the UCB Show on Seeso and on the two time Canadian Screen Award winning series The Amazing Gayl Pile (writer/perfomer) on CBC Comedy.
